Bipasha Hayat is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is deeply rooted in memory, time, and the traces left by humanity across civilizations. Having spent part of her childhood in Libya, surrounded by the remnants of Roman architecture, Bipasha developed an early fascination with history, archaeology, and the silent stories told by ancient ruins.
This early exposure, coupled with extensive travels to archaeological sites and a deep engagement with ancient philosophies and literature, continues to shape their artistic expression. Through diverse methods and mediums, they explore the fragments we leave behind as individuals.
Reflecting a practice that is both introspective and universal. Her artwork is a journey through time, guided by a persistent questioning of personal and collective responsibility. Art becomes a mirror and a tool for excavation—of the subconscious, of behavior, and of one’s place in the timeline of humanity. By expressing these layers visually, Bipasha strive to create meaning not only for herself but for an ever changing world.
