Expanding Our Digital Borders
For us, it’s all about connection. Our promise to the artists we represent is simple: to offer them a platform where they can showcase their craft to the world. While we’re fortunate to have two physical locations in different countries and strong partnerships with allies across the globe, we still felt that there was more we could do to amplify the voices of our artists.
In addition to the physical exhibitions, we’ve always been dedicated to highlighting the work of our artists through social media, events, and blogs. But we realized that we could reach an even broader audience by offering a more curated experience—one that allows us to share our artists’ works in a way that’s immersive and easily accessible to anyone, anywhere.
That’s when the idea of a virtual showroom began to take shape.
Introducing Viewrooms: A New Digital Experience
As we continue to innovate, we turned to Artsy, one of our key online platforms, to explore a new way of exhibiting artwork. Enter Viewrooms: a small-scale, virtual exhibition space that offers an intimate yet accessible way to engage with the latest collections from Art Dome artists.
The beauty of Viewrooms lies in its flexibility and ability to bring the art directly to you, no matter where you are. This new virtual exhibition format provides unique benefits that our traditional pop-up exhibitions simply couldn’t.
- Accessible to Everyone
Whether you’re across the globe or just unable to attend in person due to time, location, or accessibility issues, our Viewroom ensures that you don’t miss out. The Art Dome is now a space that anyone, anywhere can experience. - Detailed Information at Your Fingertips
Each artwork in the Viewroom is accompanied by comprehensive details: materials, technique, size, and even pricing. No more wondering about the story behind a piece—you’ll have all the information you need right at hand. - Easy Purchasing Integration
Artsy isn’t just a platform for exhibition; it’s also where we sell our artworks. So, if you fall in love with something in the Viewroom, purchasing it is just a click away. The perfect way for collectors to acquire pieces from our exhibitions instantly.
A Complement to, Not a Replacement for, Physical Exhibitions
It’s important to note that Viewrooms are not intended to replace our in-person exhibitions—they are simply an extension of our promise to our artists. While some of our artists will continue to be featured in physical spaces, Viewrooms allow us to simultaneously showcase multiple artists and exhibitions, reaching a broader audience without geographical limits.
In fact, we’re even planning to bring older, beloved exhibitions to the Viewroom platform. For example, Jorge Magyaroff’s “Vestigios”, which was showcased at one of our physical locations, will soon be available virtually, allowing new audiences to discover it while also giving long-time followers the opportunity to revisit the show.
Dive into our first Viewroom: Cube
In Cube, you will witness the exploration of geometry in its purest form as you embark in this journey with Camilo Bojáca, an artist who questions the shape of the cube, approaching it from both its appearance in nature and the way humanity has perfected as a shape to build, inhabit and live around it.
Dive deep into this introspection of Cubes, where materials of constructions, from the most subtle as graphite leads to the most literal as cement are contorted into this search for the primordial shape in habitation and its organic unpredictability, seen in its architectural materials from planning to construction.
This exploration grants us an exhibition where segmented materials become an integral piece of this simple puzzle that the shape of Cube gives the viewer, making us reflect on the day to day figure that we live inside and around but never stop to see the logic behind it.
The exhibition will be live on Artsy from July 10 to August 10, 2025.
