Sometimes, pain ceases to be an event and becomes a foundation. This poisoned knowledge, as Veena Das calls it, allows us to “know through suffering.” Through drawing, we reinhabit a devastated world, transforming pain into a visual conversation that transcends language. In early May, our CEO, Eduardo Ojeda, had the incredible opportunity to attend Richard Branson’s renowned Finding My Virginity event on his private island. This experience not only enriched Eduardo’s entrepreneurial journey but also allowed him to bring invaluable insights back to The Art Dome. A highlight of the trip was gifting an original oil painting by our talented artist, Didier Bedoya, to Branson. This connection between art and philanthropy showcases the shared commitment of both Bedoya and Branson to raise awareness about the Venezuelan crisis, illustrating how creativity and compassion can unite for a greater cause.
