Where Language Takes Form: The Reopening of The Art Dome House in Bogota
The reopening of The Art Dome House in Bogota marks more than the inaguration of a new exhibition. It signals the consolidation of a space
On September 12, our secondary headquarters in Bogotá became the stage for a unique group exhibition where six artists redefined the boundaries of material, concept, and community.
Led by five Colombian artists, curated by Amy Navarrete, and shaped by the strategic insight of Liliana Hernández-Obando, Pop Up 107 was more than an exhibition—it was an exercise in collective creation.
Our Bogotá house transformed into a dialogue of new and old works, an encounter where artistic voices resonated with innovation and freedom.
Several artists presented groundbreaking explorations of form and material:
Jorge Magyaroff expanded his Insubordinated series, breaking art free from its frames with intricate new compositions.
Edgar Jiménez combined oil paint and graffiti on accounting paper, fusing architecture, Pacific landscapes, and past techniques into powerful mixed media works.
Didier Bedoya surprised with La Ruta del Río Magdalena en la Nueva Granada, a collage series using stamps from Colombia and Venezuela to evoke a shared past.
A collaborative exhibition by The Art Dome Bogotá featuring six artists experimenting with new works and reintroducing past series.
The exhibition remains open until new Bogotá projects are launched—visitors are encouraged to explore before it closes.
It demonstrates The Art Dome’s mission of empowering artists through freedom, collaboration, and cross-cultural dialogue.
Some artists brought past series into fresh conversation with new contexts:
Daniela Acosta’s Pajarraco filled the opening room with colorful illustrations exploring death and acceptance for children, reframing the theme of endings as gentle beginnings.
Bipasha Hayat’s drawings, reflecting the 2020 lockdown, overlapped with Bedoya’s collages—together offering two perspectives on memory and the act of archiving.
This layering of new and old revealed how art evolves through context, sparking dialogues across time and borders.
What made Pop Up 107 distinctive was its artist-led approach. Rather than adhering to a single theme, artists embraced freedom—experimenting, revisiting, and connecting across disciplines and geographies.
The inclusion of Bipasha Hayat, based in the U.S., underscored The Art Dome’s cross-border ethos, proving that collaboration extends far beyond local walls.

From the Hearts to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana at ICA Miami is a major exhibition in Miami’s Design District featuring over 300 pieces that explore Italian culture, craftsmanship and the dialogue between fashion and contemporary art. Curated by Florence Müller, the show transforms ICA Miami into an immersive journey through heritage, design and artistic reinterpretation.

As a way to showcase our collection of artworks, we wanted to begin introducing the masters behind these pieces as our Artist of the Month. This allows us to take a closer look at the artworks in our collection and the fascinating people behind their creation.
