Where Language Takes Form: The Reopening of The Art Dome House in Bogota
The reopening of The Art Dome House in Bogota marks more than the inaguration of a new exhibition. It signals the consolidation of a space
In this exclusive interview, he shares his journey, vision, and why building a collaborative community is key to reshaping the future of art.
In 1999, Eduardo moved from Colombia to Miami, where he pursued an MBA while supporting Felipe Grimberg, a renowned art collector. Surrounded by works of Botero and Picasso, Eduardo discovered a calling that would later evolve into The Art Dome, a platform designed to empower artists beyond visibility.
The Art Dome was born out of necessity: too many emerging artists lacked mentorship, infrastructure, and networks. Eduardo envisioned an ecosystem of support—a place where visibility meets real-world tools for sustainable careers.
The Art Dome doesn’t just showcase art—it builds belonging. By fostering mentorship, offering resources, and creating shared opportunities, it transforms isolation into collaboration.
With no roadmap for an art incubator, Eduardo faced uncertainty. Yet, persistence and conviction in advocacy for artists kept him moving forward. The Art Dome became a pioneering model that challenges traditional systems and amplifies artist voices.
The Art Dome empowers emerging artists through mentorship, visibility, and community support.
By providing access to exhibitions, mentorship programs, networking, and global opportunities.
Eduardo envisions hubs in major U.S. cities and eventually worldwide, creating a global network of support.
One highlight for Eduardo was inviting an Art Dome artist to a prestigious gala for the first time. Witnessing their recognition and joy crystallized his belief: community is as vital as sales.
“Even if you haven’t had the sales yet, what you’ve created with us in building this community is a major accomplishment.” — Edgar Jiménez
collaboration in art.
Eduardo envisions hubs in cities like Miami, Houston, and Chicago—spaces where artists, curators, and communities meet. His dream: scale The Art Dome into a global movement for inclusivity and collaboration in art.

From the Hearts to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana at ICA Miami is a major exhibition in Miami’s Design District featuring over 300 pieces that explore Italian culture, craftsmanship and the dialogue between fashion and contemporary art. Curated by Florence Müller, the show transforms ICA Miami into an immersive journey through heritage, design and artistic reinterpretation.

As a way to showcase our collection of artworks, we wanted to begin introducing the masters behind these pieces as our Artist of the Month. This allows us to take a closer look at the artworks in our collection and the fascinating people behind their creation.
