Opening a New Chapter in Bogotá: The Art Dome Studios
We’re turning the page with an exciting new chapter: The Art Dome Studios. This program offers dedicated workspaces for artists within our Bogotá house, creating a supportive and professional environment for artistic development. With access to career support, exhibition opportunities, and a global network, The Art Dome Studios is more than a workspace—it’s a platform for growth, collaboration, and creative exploration.
A next chapter
The Art Dome Bogotá enters a new phase with the launch of The Art Dome Studios, a residency initiative offering artists dedicated workspaces and professional support.
One year after opening our Bogotá house, this next chapter expands our mission: transforming our headquarters into both a home for exhibitions and a studio residency program for emerging and established artists.
A Year of Creativity in Bogotá
Since its opening, The Art Dome Bogotá has hosted major exhibitions such as Vestigios by Jorge Magyaroff, Vulgar Display by Edgar Jiménez, and showcases by Angie Vega and Bipasha Hayat.
Beyond exhibitions, the house became a base for José Ángel Vincench’s project El Poder de la Palabra (with Montenegro Art Project) and the Art Intensive program with All About Curating. It quickly evolved into a hub where art, dialogue, and collaboration flourished.
As Vestigios comes to a close, we reimagine what the Bogotá house can offer. During the Art Intensive, visiting local studios revealed a need: many artists desired separation between home and practice.
This reflection inspired our new project: The Art Dome Studios, where creativity is given space to breathe and grow independently.
Introducing The Art Dome Studios
The Art Dome Studios will offer three dedicated artist studios within our Bogotá house:
Two on the first floor, adjacent to the exhibition room
One on the third floor, beside our office team
Our exhibition space will remain active, fostering a dual-purpose environment where creation and presentation coexist—allowing residents and The Art Dome artists to exhibit work in intimate, evolving formats.
The Art Dome Studios are designed as more than workspaces—they are growth ecosystems. Residents will benefit from:
Career and portfolio support from The Art Dome team
Exposure on digital platforms and social media
Access to local and international networks of collectors, curators, and collaborators
In essence, resident artists will join The Art Dome family, receiving both creative and professional support.
