At The Art Dome, every space we open is more than just a building—it’s a catalyst for conversation, creativity, and community. One year ago, we opened the doors of our Bogotá house, a milestone that marked the beginning of an inspiring journey in Colombia’s capital.
Since then, the house has become a living, breathing part of our artistic vision. We’ve hosted major exhibitions like Vestigios by Jorge Magyaroff and Vulgar Display by Edgar Jiménez, as well as smaller showcases by Angie Vega and Bipasha Hayat. More than an exhibition space, our house has welcomed artists, curators, and collaborators into a dynamic environment for dialogue, reflection, and creative growth.
A Home for Art and Ideas
The Bogotá house has also served as a creative base for our collaborators. Cuban artist José Ángel Vincench transformed it into his temporary studio during the development of El Poder de la Palabra, a project realized in partnership with Montenegro Art Project. It also became the headquarters for our Art Intensive program in collaboration with All About Curating—offering our guests a home where they could gather, talk, and fully experience the cultural richness of Bogotá.
It’s hard to believe that just a year ago we held our House Warming event, showcasing our diverse collection and introducing the Bogotá community to our unique approach to multidisciplinary art. Thanks to the dedication of our team, the house quickly became a creative hub—not only for our internal operations but also as a space where our artists and allies could work, pitch ideas, or simply stop by for a coffee with Eduardo when he was in town.
From Exhibiting to Creating: What Comes Next
As Vestigios by Jorge Magyaroff nears its closing, we’ve started to reimagine the next phase of our Bogotá house. During the Art Intensive, we visited many artist studios—each one a deeply personal world. But we also heard a common concern: for many artists, working from home blurred the line between life and practice. Several expressed a desire for separation—a dedicated space where their creativity could thrive independently of domestic life.
With that in mind, we asked ourselves: what if our house could offer that space?

Introducing: The Art Dome Studios
We’re excited to announce the next chapter in the story of The Art Dome Bogotá: The Art Dome Studios—a new initiative designed to give artists a professional, supportive, and inspiring environment to create.
Currently, we’re preparing three dedicated artist studios within the house:
- Two in the first-floor, next to the exhibition room
- One on the third floor, right next to our team office
Importantly, our exhibition space on the first floor will remain active, offering a dual-purpose environment where creation and presentation happen side by side. This flexible setup will allow resident artists, along with The Art Dome’s roster, to showcase their work in a more intimate, evolving setting.
More Than a Studio—A Platform for Growth
What makes The Art Dome Studios unique is our commitment to providing more than just physical space. Resident artists will benefit from the same creative ecosystem we offer our Art Dome artists:
- Career and portfolio support from our professional team
- Exposure on our digital platforms and social media
- Access to our local and international network of collectors, curators, and collaborators
In short, artists in residence will become part of The Art Dome family—fully supported in both their creative and professional journeys.
