Alejandro works in Medellín and has always been interested in what the search for a place of one's own can mean. That is why today in his proposals he explores the value of land, its distribution and the forms of power that safeguard it. It is then when he looks at what he recognizes as territory questioning how this, being a natural common good, acquires a sense of product that is negotiated in a fragmented and systematic way.
The possibilities within artistic practices allow him to use, through drawing, interdisciplinary dialogues, traditional fabrication techniques, software and technologies, to relate these ideas and configure installation objects that he builds with reusable materials such as wood, iron and polymers. He uses geometric forms and nature, with constructive principles from industry, architecture and craftsmanship. Shapes and surfaces that interfere in places, occupying them and sometimes inviting the viewer to interact, generating effects and paths of that human presence on the territory.
