Carolina Borrero (Bogotá, 1988) has a Master's degree in Fine Arts and is a specialist in photography from the Universidad Nacional. She defines herself as a deconstructor of plants, whose research revolves around the concept of coexistence reflected in the socio-environmental problems inherent to the ideas of progress, on which our society is built. Her work reflects on the relationship we have as a species with nature and the notion of development itself as a transversal axis of human thought. Her practice leads to her plastic research as a laboratory of transformations and traces, a detailed taxonomy of changes in the fertile and sterile materials with which she works. Lucas Gallego (Bogotá, 1980) is an artist, architect, urban planner and carpenter from the Universidad Nacional. His plastic practice is interested in the anthropic manifestations that alter the territory’s identity characteristics. His observations take shape in photographic projects, intervention spaces, installations and paintings. Based on his experience he raises a series of reflections about the human transit on the territory, based on concepts such as inhabiting, settling, intervening and transforming.
