Camilo Bojaca is a Colombian artist whose work explores the complex interactions between identity, historical memory, and violence in Colombian society. Through sculpture, installation, and conceptual art, Bojaca creates pieces that reflect the transformation of local traditions and the impact of conflict on everyday life. His work is characterized by the use of organic and concrete materials, merging the ancestral with the contemporary to create a dialogue between the physical and the symbolic. Bojaca investigates how social, political, and cultural processes have shaped identities in Colombia, with a particular focus on the tensions between modernity and ancestral roots. In his works, the human figure, collective memory, and symbols of violence play a central role, inviting the viewer to reflect on the past and its repercussions in the present. Through his artistic practice, Bojaca seeks to create a space for healing, critical reflection, and a reconsideration of historical narratives within the contemporary Colombian context.
